Hi, I have been away and since returning, I cannot get my PCImax3000 up and working. I had created a simple notebook file to get started and followed it through. I get dead air at the chosen frequencies that changes as I change frequency or update transmitter so I assume the transmitter is functioning correctly. My Winamp still produces music through my speakers, so it works. when I change my playback device to " Speakers-USB sound device, I get no music from my radio. I have tried various com ports and rebooting etc.
All 8 com ports come back as "do not exist"

???

So you can control the transmitter, it is only that audio is not getting through, correct?

Did you try to feed audio through regular stereo inputs (3,5" stereo plug).

I assume that is correct. connecting a set of ear buds to the 3.5 output on the PCI card yields no sound if that is what you are asking

Connect audio source there. Maybe Mp3 player or similar.

ok found a device and do get sound through to my radio from this device through the card. thought it may be a usb driver problem so I downloaded archive_usb for win 7 from forum and unzipped when I try to run the program, I get a message that a newer version 4.404.04 or similar is installed and I would have to uninstall it from my control panel. when I try to do that, I get a message that a file or link is missing. I have tried to find where it is installed and remove it manually, but it doesn't exist????

If you are getting audio than the card is working. Drivers are ok, too. The USB sound card does not need extra drivers, they are part of Windows OS.

The problem is to setup your audio playback software to play through USB sound card and it seems this is giving you trouble.

Alternatively you can also feed audio from your usual PC sound card to the PCIMAX card, you need audio jumper cable with stereo 3,5" phono male plug on both sides.

It seems to me that this problem has been resolved.

Hi...i am a new user here. In my case the problem I'm having is that it won't save the files for me telling me I haven't access to write the file to the C Drive, so again I changed the read only on the LMMS folder just to see and the problem is still there. I have noticed that the folder it's trying to write to is C. It was mentioned before as being a problem but where do I change the / to \ for the C Drive.

circuit card assembly

Download and extract to local folder, than run setup from extracted files not from the archive and not from network somewhere.
