I believe this is the jumper cable from pci max to the amplifier input, correct?

The cable is fine, don't worry.

Thanks for the quick response I have one more question the 40 watt amp i removed the jumpers (witch i believe is what i should have done) but on the board it says 0.3-0.5w when there is no jumpers and i have the 1w pci max but according to the specs on the store
RF Input Power: 100-1000mW (level selectable via 2 jumpers)

can it handle 1w or not?

also yes i was talking about the jumper wire thanks for that info.

also i forgot to add what is better doing using sam for Pre-emphasis or the hardware of the pci max for Pre-emphasis

If you have SAM broadcasting, I would use SAM.

i still need to know with the jumpers removed on the rf amp is it safe to use a 1w pcimax as the board says 0.3-0.5w but ur specs say RF Input Power: 100-1000mW (level selectable via 2 jumpers) i dont want to damage the amp or the pci max

1W should be ok, but start with both jumpers removed, than if you don't get expected results add 1 first and later the other.
