power accuracy on pcs exciters

Hello,
I have had the opportunity to use several generations of pcs 15w exciters. The power read on the display (of all devices tested) always matched the power meter I use perfectly. On several occasions I had the opportunity to test several more powerful devices (elenos, elletronika bari) with the same power meter, but the difference in the power reading on the device and on the power meter is even 3dB. (50w on power meter / 100w on elenos LCD). So my question is, how accurate power measurement is shown on the LCD exciters series 3000, 6000, 7000, and latest 8000. Can i use it as a reference? Thanks!
