Hello Everyone,

Been lurking around here awhile, Thinking about building MAX PRO 5000+ 25W

Here is my list so far :

1) MAX PRO 5000+ 25W
2) Upgrade LCD to new type with rotary button (is this upgrade worth it?)
3) Predrilled LCD front panel (in case I ever want to use the included OLD LCD?)
4) SE6000+ stereo encoder (SE6000 AN+ Analog)
5) RDSIO5000+ RDS and IO board

Besides a case with heat sink and a power supply, do I need to order anything else (flat cable?)

THANKS!!

Joe

The best deal right now is the MAXPRO5050 + SE6000 AN + RDS IO combo, you get most bang for your buck.

The rotary button (encoder) thing looks nice, but does not improve your signal quality, audio or range.

Hi Marko !!

What is the web link to that deal?

I didn't go with the 50 because I already have a Very clean Ham radio 13.8 volt supply, And I am only trying to cover about a 5 mile radius

I figured for the extra $12 US the Alarm LEDs on the Upgrade LCD was worth it

BTW I sent you an email, did you get it?

All the BEST!!

Hi,

I have to apologize, the combo deal is for 15W:

I was considering to do one with 50W, but have changed my mind at that time.

I believe I did get your email.

I wish you all the best in 2015 as well!

Hi Marko,

I want to get my radio ordered, Will you please look at the list below and tell me if I need anything else?

1) MAX PRO 5000+ 25W
2) Predrilled LCD front panel
3) SE6000+ stereo encoder (SE6000 AN+ Analog)

I don't need RDS, Besides a case with heat sink and a power supply, do I need to order anything else Like flat cables?

I can't afford to pay shipping twice, I am on a fixed income and my kids are getting this for me as my Christmas Present

THANKS!!

This looks good, I'll throw in the flat cable, if needed :)

Thanks Marko!!

I am going to see if I have enough money to add one of your AWESOME 1H 19-inch rack enclosures
The $78US you are asking for it is fair but the added weight adds about $50 extra in shipping, so the enclosure ends up costing about $118US :(

I will drop this stuff in my cart and pay right now!!

Thanks, this is a dream come true for my kids and I, my 18 year old son is very active in helping to run our station and now we should be able to reach the whole town

Yes, it makes a big difference since package is much much bigger.

Luckily US$ is so strong right now you've automatically saved about 15% compared to several months ago.
