MAX PRO 4+ vs. MAX PRO 3+

I'm a bit confused as to the differences of these 2 kits:

The manual download link on the web page for the 4+ is actually the manual for the 3+
The web page for the 3+ lists its advantages over the MAX PRO 4, but not the MAX PRO 4+
The web page for the MAX PRO 3+ lists only the MAX PRO 3 in the section where the actual order is placed

Can someone explain the differences between these kits along with their proper nomenclature so I can order the one that will best suit me?

Thanks,

JohnNYC

The link to the manual has been corrected, thanks for letting me know.

How is MAXPRO3+ better than MAXPRO3?
- Minimal PLL step now 6.25KHz
- Operation without LCD module now supported
- Enhanced SWR/TEMP/PLL UNLOCK operation
- Improved board layout
- Improved heat sink

Why is MAXPRO3+ better than MAXPRO4?
- MAX PRO 3+; Minimal PLL step is a lot smaller (6.25KHz versus 50KHz)
- MAX PRO 3+; Features better immunity for strong RF fields and is better suited for high-power applications
- MAX PRO 3+; Better and adjustable SWR/TEMP/PLL UNLOCK protection
- MAX PRO 3+; Possible operation without the LCD module

All products listed under max pro 3+ are MAX PRO 3+, even if the + is missing.

MAX PRO 3+ is better.

i always wanted to ask this question, why did your company make a follow-up to the maxpro3+ ( the latest version maxpro4+ ) then now you are stating all the benefits of the older version , I have both versions , I like the maxpro3 over the 4 . Please respond with some clarification.
Thank you.

Actually max pro 3+ is newer than max pro 4.

They are different models, different technology is used.
Number 4 does not imply it is a better one. If you look at
the features, you immediately see that 3 has a lot more.

One more question:

The Max Pro 3+ is catagorized as a kit, yet at the bottom of its page (in the order section) it is described as assembled...
Which is it?

I see you selected air mail. Its been HORRIBLY slow lately so I've added a number of warnings
against using it to the site just today.

We have better cheap alternatives for EU zone, but only more expensive Fedex for the USA.
Consider upgrading to fedex.

I emailed your sales dept a few hours ago requesting that they upgrade my order to FedEx but so far no acknowledgement. Perhaps you could pass it along...

Thanks,
