MAX PRO 3+ design has been finished finally just minutes ago.

Shipping starts this week.

Some notable features:
-PLL step down to 6.25KHz minimum (50KHz/25KHz/12.5KHz or 6.25KHz)
-Each unit can be used either without LCD (with on-board DIP switch) or a LCD unit can be attached.
-Improved heatsink
-Power can be set in 3 ways, which are selectable via jumper; via LCD, potentiometer or a trimmer
-Improved SWR protection with adjustable sensitivity

Here is the pic:

-Note that PLL step is now 6.25KHz. Reference oscillator can be swinged a bit with the trimmer so any frequency can be covered. For those who are new to transmitters, you can set your frequency in steps of 100KHz, 50KHz, 25KHz, 12.5KHz or 6.25KHz.
-The DIP switches can be used to set the frequency without the LCD module. If you want to use LCD, simply set all DIP switches to off and attach LCD module. This is desirable sometimes and makes installing into a case much simpler.
-SWR protection is now a lot more sensitive. Sensitivity can se adjusted with a trimmer.
-TEMP protection can be adjusted as well. "Dead spots" at the extremes have been removed.
-Power can be set either with potentiometer, trimmer or LCD. Selectable with 3-position jumper to your
preference.
-Protection LED now illuminates fully regardless of current power setting, before it did not when power was set close to zero
-Improved output heatsink
-Improved layout, there are now no custom corrections on board
-Place for additional extension connector, not used at the moment, but provides connections for both LED diodes, ground and power. This will be usefull for system integrators, makes things look more professional.

Overall, the best FM exciter we developed to date. Satisfaction guaranteed.

The baord is bigger, the holes do not match. Only the holes for heatsink
match.

You can use it as stand-alone, sure.
