New to am broadcasting

Post by OKCSpitfire »

Hello All, I am trying to locate online information concerning AM broadcasting. I would like to setup a small AM radio broadcast station. This would be to primarily do small time social talk show forums with various guess from the local community. I know I would need an FCC license to broadcast. I would like assistance in determining what equipment I would need, I would like to cover the Oklahoma City metro area or at least 50 square miles. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

AM MAX 3+ will be introduced later this year and will possibly fulfill your requirements, with good antenna.

Good antenna is huge antenna on AM.
