what should the operating level on the compressor be +4dBu or -10dBV?
I'm getting the output audio from a soundcard, connected to the compressor which then connects its output to the transmitter.
Thanks

The T-DAB - Digital Terrestrial Radio
Here in Malta we will soon see the new Digital Radio Revolution which will in time phase out Analogue FM Transmissions (A mayor concern for us Analogue FM operators). The standard adopted here will be the T-DAB network structure. Is anyone aware of what equipment would such a system entail in terms ...

If you are operating through a good sound proof sudio I suggest the CAD GXL2200 mics which are excellent for high quality braudcasting and they come at very affordable price for their performance. This mic is not directional though. If you have a noisy environment and you need a more directional MIC...

Whenever there is a segment of silence or music volume fading down (due to end of track) an annoying distorted sound starts to become audible first very low and then slowly fades in to full volume. (During long silent or low volume segments). Is ...

Lower part of the FM Band
I was thinking of mooving the station frequency to the lower part of the FM Band, slomething like 87.8FM. For some reason there are few stations in the lower parts of the FM Band. DO you know what could be the reason? is there any problem related to transmitting on such a frequency?
Thanks
