There are many serial ports active on most computers. So if I query the serial ports i can automatically detect and connect to the transmitter......

I got my system running good enough for my purposes.... Still cannot compile the whole project... but for now I am ok. I am able to control the frequency an power .

Just Curious.... Why the +4 in: temp = Chr$((Int(TXPower / 100 * 21)) + 4) when sending frequency or power???

I can open the code and i edit it .... but i get what i consider dumb compiler errors..... like invalid variable name... it is quite frustrating.... i do not need the code unless it is from a different source than you have already supplied.

If there is a google search or weblink that will get me up and running i would greatly appreciate the help...... I have tried many web suggested solutions without any luck.

Again something is wrong because "_ExtentX" is not an invalid variable name.....

This is a nice feature...... however the transmitter does not shut down when the program is closed.... it shuts off only momentairly then restarts even though the program is closed.

Is there a fix for this??

i know that that the magnitude of the audio input controls the deviation..... my question is what should the deviation be and how can i tell when it is correct given the pci card does not have a VU meter and the software does not provide deviation information ??

Is there a way to use the digital audio and my conputer speakers at the same time????

When i connect transmitter audio using the USB driver my computer speakers stop working unless i disable the usb sound driver.... but then , of course, the modulation to the transmitter quits.......
