MAX PRO 1 LCD FAULT
I HAVE A 15 WATT TRANSMITTER IN A RACK UNIT NOW I HAVE USED THE UNIT WITHOUT ANY COMPLAINTS UNTILL LASTNIGHT WEN MY STATION WENT OFF AIR I WEN TO THE TRANSMITTER SITE TO FIND THAT MY TRANSMITTER JUST PACKED UP . HOW .......THE LCD DISPLAYS......I2C ERR I THINK ITS THE LCD DISPLAY THATS THE FAULT . C...

hi thanks for the comeents lads im currantly useing a 300watt tx on a high mountain 10 km from cork city a the antenna is a 4 bay dipole array im setting up a new rnbv station just waiting on marco to sort me out with some new toys also im useing a 2 kw trasnmitter at weekends due to comreg the lads...

get a swr meter and ajust the whip and it wil resonate and ur swr will go down...

ok this is my opinion the humm is coused by feedback from Ayour audio equpmant or B your anttenna is not far enough from your transmitter or C the powersuply is not filterd .. i had a problem with the fan in my transmitter it was also makeing a hum but weni disconected the audio scource it was gone ...

What coil - do you mean coil L3 and L4? There are 4 of them. Do you talk really about MaxPro4? right as mark said the transmitter needs 15 volts to operat at maximum power if you have a vaireable powersuply set it 2 15 volts also check you output settings on the transmitter itself via the lcd displ...

did you try to ajust the ourput coiles thsy should be 2 of them try to ajust the left 1 a smallbit and see wat result u get..NEGZI wrote:It´s me again, I forget to say, that the power supply is strong enough, it can give 1,5 AMp for 13.8V.
