PCIMAX line of TX cards discontinued?

Was this line discontinued? I no longer see the "PC Transmitters" section on your site. I bought a PCIMAX 3000+ in mid-2018 to replace the 2007 model I fried (totally my fault). The 3000+ 1W model with RDS works well, especially now that I switched the preemphasis jumpers to the proper 75&...

How I Fixed My Own "E159" Driver Issue

I began having the same problems with my PCI MAX 2006+ card, where no matter what I did, Windows would not wire up the software driver to the PCI card. Moving the card to another slot didn't work. For some reason, my card persistently had begun to report that it's vendor ID was "VEN_e159" ...

You are correct in pointing out that I should have qualified my comments as to their distinct relation to the FM implementation of HD Radio--the AM incarnation is quite innocuous and will I suspect be as much of a dud as C-Quam... If HD Radio splatter on FM were a bull in a china shop, HD Radio on ...

As I know, PCI MAX 2006 has max output power 350 mW when installed in the PCI slot. Transmitter do not use external power 12-15 Volts when installed in the PCI slot. And it does not work with external power supply without LCD module. It would give 1Watt output power when it being used outside the c...

99.1, because south of Chicago it's the only frequency that is 0.4 MHz away from any other station. It gets hammered from three different commercial stations on 99.1 over 100km away when tropo acts up. Thanks to IBOC/HD Radio, there is only one other open frequency on a first-adjacent channel (0.2 M...

WinAMP Audio Processing

I have had good results with Stereo Tool v1.12 (by Hans Van Zutphen), downloadable from WinAMP's list of plugins. The multiband compressor works fair with the default settings, and works very well after tweaking the attacks and decays, especially for the middle 4 frequency ranges. It's nice to have ...

The center pin is positive. I am using a power adapter from an old portable TV. It's has a 15VDC output capable of 2A, and the DC is really clean. My FM stereo audio has a very clean dead carrier, compared to using the PC's internal power where there is a very slight 60Hz hum.[/code]

PCI MAX 2006+ Rocks!

This card is awesome. I installed it in an *old* 300MHz Intel-based PC running Windows 2000 Professional, attached a cheesy FM dipole to it just to get started. It works very well... Great bass/treble, very good stereo separation, and a clean, hiss-free signal. Right now the range is about 3/4 mile ...
