No, prefer not to as the back of my system looks like a rat's nest as it ius. This system is really loaded. Will an external power supply increase signal strength? I may reconsider.

How about posting a pic showing the trimmer. Does one turn the trimmer CW or CCW to increase power.

I also received a CD without "setup" or drivers. So Peter is handling software? If so, Peter should find a different day job.

Installed the 350mw card using version 2005 software & drivers. The card is a very tight fit in the PCI slot. Cancel my previous request for software and drivers for the pci ultra max 2006. The link for pci max 2005 software worked and am using that software and driver with no problems. Will wait and update when the new drivers are finally available.
