Re: Live Internet Radio Equipment?
I want to ask if anyone can tell me what kind of equipment I would need to broadcast a live radio feed through a website. Like lets say I want to stream a live feed like a radio station through my website while I was out on the streets evangelizing, so people could listen to me do it live through m...

Mixer choice
Hey all,
I was just wondering what everyone uses for a mixer, if you use one.
I'm thinking about getting the Mackie 1604VLS because it has XLR output. It is not marketed towards radio but it would work.
Any suggestions or comments or concerns?

Thanks for the reply and the link. I think I am going to get dmx 266 and/or 266. These are stereo units as well. The only thing that sucks is that you have to get another one each time you add more than two inputs, like four mics would need a pair (total of two) stereo/limiters/compressors. thanks f...

Hello, I myself have a question regarding antennas. Say I have the COMET CFM-95SL 5/8 wave omnidirectional antenna. Its outside the studio 40 feet above the ground plus the length of the antenna its self. So we have at least forty feet of coaxial cable outside going from the ground to the bottom of ...

I was reading around the forum today and read some about radio linking. This seems very interesting and perhaps something people should look into more often. What it is, from how I understand it, is a transmitter box that is at your studio connected to your mixer. outside you'd have an antenna and d...

I'm no expert but I think almost anything could hinder your RF. Radio stations and television network towers are outside the city and at the highest point that they are allowed at to get a good signal. There are usually no trees as tall as their towers and there are not wires way up there as well. t...

Do you absolutely need a computer?
Do you absolutely need a computer? I am interested in possibly getting the 15 watt balanced (XLR) audio DSP unit and I have a few elementary questions about it. The non-balanced audio DSP unit (sells for $310) and it says recommended used a computer for audio processing. How necessary is this? Does ...

All Right Folks, After reading JKAudio.com 's website, I have gained only a slight headache and more confusion. I like the--natually--most expensive telephone device that this site (pcs) sells, the compack: http://jkaudio.com/compack.htm because you can do this in the field and connect it to anythin...

telephone calls with the CM 15w
Hello to all of you Kind Folks, First off, this probably is not the correct place to post such a question so I don't blame you if it is moved. We need to assume a few things about me to save time (these may or may not be true): 1) I already have the cybermax 15watt xmitter and i get a single about t...
