I plan to feed a broadcast studio audio chain into my AM MAX II. What is the impedance and level of the transmitter's optional XLR balanced input, please?

That's great news, Mark. As you probably know by now, I've ordered one with power supply and XLR board. I plan to use at as an exciter for a 350 Watt solid state 40 meter transmitter I will build. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

AM MAX II DSP as exciter on 80/40 meters?
Has anyone used the AM Max II DSP transmitter as an exciter on the amateur bands? Would it be compatible with a Class E amplifier?
