Description

Directional coupler with SWR and POWER sensor, coupled with DIGIMAX interface to make it possible to read voltage, current (requires installation of INA202IC) and temperature. It can be used from low VHF band all the way up to high VHF and higher. Excellent for FM radio, DAB+ digital radio and VHF TV.

Please note this unit is not a filter, it is just sensor board with a number of protections (SWR, overload, over-current, temperature).

This product can be used with our FM exciters: MAXPRO6015, MAXPRO7015, MAXPRO8015 and also our new TV exciters (TVMAX6000). Also supported by our Universal Amplifier Control Board.

– Current limit trimmer (works with our exciters via DIGIAMP but can also pull down bias voltage, this requires installation of extra IC and trimmer capacitor)
– Size: 40x85mm, PTFE board

About protections:
This board can protect against:
– High SWR (it can pull bias down or reduce drive via exciter – exciter must support DigiAmp)
– High Temp (it can reduce drive via exciter – exciter must support DigiAmp)
– High Current consumption (it can pull bias down or reduce drive via exciter – exciter must support DigiAmp)
– Excesive output from too much drive (it can pull bias down or reduce drive via exciter – exciter must support DigiAmp)

What is included:
– DCMAX-1 board, 1x
– 10K NTC temperature sensor (M3 screw mounts to heatsink)

– DigiAmp cable with connectors is NOT included and can be ordered separately
– Current sensor IC (INA202AIDGKT) is NOT installed, it was not possible to buy these at the time of manufacturing. If you want to install current sensor please solder this IC and also missing 10K SMD trimmer.
