These scenarios are typically encountered in the field:

Small community stations in remote areas, far from urban centers or critical infrastructure, with limited budget
CyberNano transmitters and CyberNano packages work best for these since they come with built-in stereo encoder and RDS. This reduces both cost and complexity. It can also be easily programmed via LCD without the need for PC to set the RDS parameters. Audio quality is acceptable, but not as good as CyberMaxFM+ SE+, spurious level is not suitable for professional setups as DDS digital modulator creates some in-band artefacts about -50dBc down. If you’re looking for a low cost solution and just want to play with radio a little bit, get one of these. At low powers such as 1W you are unlikely to have any kind of problems, just choose a free unused frequency.

Small community stations that require high quality radio signal
If your signal needs to be clean but with small power and range, consider this 15W package or this 200W package. Both have great clean signal and audio and come with RDS and DSP processing. Don’t forget to add DSP Stereo and RDS option when you place order. Note you can adjust/reduce power so you do not need to run at full power. Frequency can also be adjusted at any time. Based on our high quality and CE certified CyberMaxFM+ SE+ series.

Large stations with maximum range
Consider our 1KW or 2KW transmitter package for maximum range. If you really want serious range get at least 2 dipoles (or 4). You could go for more, up to 8 are typically used. Contact us for help if you want a package with 8 dipoles. That many dipoles take a lot of space on the tower so this will be important consideration. Don’t forget to add DSP Stereo and RDS option when you place order. Note you can adjust/reduce power so you do not need to run at full power. Frequency can also be adjusted at any time. Based on our high quality and CE certified CyberMaxFM+ SE+ series.

Selecting audio link to feed audio from studio to the transmitter
If you have internet available at the studio and transmitter site go for IP audio streaming. We sell both major providers, DEVA and Barix.
If internet is not available, a wireless solution will usually be used. This is our solution for wireless audio link. A relatively direct unobstructed line of sight between studio and transmitter site will be needed. Receiver and transmitter are placed at the studio and transmitter site with antennas directed to eachother. MPX version of transmitter can be used with this solution since the STL transmitter also generates STL signal (it contains RDS and stereo encoder).
