How is MAXPRO3000+ better than MAX PRO 3+?
- Improved cooling, the heatsink below the PCB goes across the whole length of the PCB, heatsink is also galvanized for better heat radiation
- MAXPRO3000+ does not pickup fan noise
- MAXPRO3000+ directly shows power and swr (in watts) on the LCD
- MAXPRO3000+ directly shows temperature, supply voltage, external voltage (0-50V) and audio level on the LCD
- MAXPRO3000+ has the new MaxLink connector for stereo encoder (no soldering)
- MAXPRO3000+ works reliably from 11V to 15V (13.8-14V is not required anymore for full power)

Can I upgrade my CyberMaxFM transmitter with new exciter?
Sure, but note that the new LCD unit has a new I2C connector. If your stereo encoder is not the new SE5000 you may have some trouble figuring out the connections so it may be better to replace the stereo encoder as well (replace with SE3000 or SE5000 with new MaxLInk I2C socket)
