When?

Post by erobertg »

That ought to get out 3-4 times as far. Are you going to cover AM 540-1710 Khz?

International shortwave and longwave would be nice. It would be a blast to retransmit BBC Radio 4 on 198 kHz but the antenna would be quite a chore.

When are you going to unveil it for mass consumption? :D

Part 15 Device...

Post by erobertg »

Part 15 devices are getting more powerful...

100 milliwatts is the same thing as 100 watts, right?

So anyhow, how much is it cost $$$?

A nice add-on will be a built in modulation, SWR and power meter. Plus adjustable output and the unit will rule. :D

The 100W unit is not available yet. I wanted to see how much
interest exists and I must say there's almost none so we
halted development on this one for the moment.

I've just reduced price for AM MAX II (50 euro less), you got yours
at reduced price already. I guess I'm just saying AM MAX might
be a cool thing to play with through the summer... :)

There are hams out there using AM MAX II.
