CYBERMAXMICRO+ (V40)

NOW WITH DIGITAL AUDIO STREAMING, USB REMOTE CONTROL AND MANUAL RDS SUPPORT VIA LCD MODULE!

This unit is a real eye-candy. With 2x10 BARGRAPH LED VU meter and backlit LCD display wrapped up in a tiny and stylish black anodized enclosure this unit really draws attention. But CyberMaxMicro+ (V40) is not just about the looks, this jewel packs a lot under the hood, too. And now finally with hot new feature, remote control via PC; you can now set frequency, output power, stereo/mono mode and any of the RDS parameters right there on your desktop. USB cable is all it takes. Another hot feature lets you set and change RDS parameters via unit's LCD control, eliminating the need for a computer for changing RDS settings. You can enter PS, RT and a number of other parameters right there on the LCD module.

Here is the manual for v40:

Here is the driver for v40, lets you change RDS parameters and frequency/output power and stereo / mono mode.
http://www.pcs-electronics.com/software/2013/CyberMaxMicro_v43_Setup.EXE

Old version of driver:
http://www.pcs-electronics.com/software/Setup_CyberMaxMicrov40_en.exe

Here is the driver for USB port for XP, W2K, Vista and Windows7:
http://www.pcs-electronics.com/software/archive_usb2comport_driver.zip
This lets you use the USB communication with cybermax micro.

Here is the driver for USB port for XP, Vista and Windows7 that should work in 64 as well:

Are you getting this error message:
"Component 'mscomctl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid "
Here is the solution, download the file from this microsoft webpage here:
http://www.vistaheads.com/forums/microsoft-public-windows-vista-general/126833-mscomctl-ocx-not-registered-error-vista-home-basic.html
Install that exe file, it installs common VB libraries and thereby eliminates the error.

Some have seen another DLL error, workaround was to install MS office (you can later uninstall it).

What's new in v40?
- New Qsonic PLL/VCO for extreme audio quality and flat audio response
- Pre-emphasis selectable with jumpers (no more soldering bridges)
- Microphone input with automatic music mute during speech (perfect for churches, meetings)
- On-board USB interface, can be used with laptops as well
- Supports streaming audio directly in digital form for higher performance (noise free)
- Still supports audio via regular 3.5" phono stereo jack
- Provides card output power and temperature info via windows control software
- Much easier to integrate into other programs, contact us for assistance and sample code

One additional note, make sure to plug in the power supply before plugging in the USB cable or some USB devices may not be recognized correctly.

Enjoy this latest release from PCS!

Firmware updated to 4.1.

Fix1: VU meter was making a bit of low-level noise, this has been fix
Fix2: VU meter had a bit of a shadow in the dark segments, these have been fixed, too.
