Pilot 19 Khz level of SE5000 DSP + stereo encoder

Post by ea3abn »

Hi,
I have a problem with the SE5000 DSP + stereo encoder.
When i configure the encoder for a 4 Vpp output, the level of the pilot I was shooting + 12 kHz deviation,
even with the jumper J12 jumpered.
It is possible to reduce the level of the pilot, without changing the output level of MPX?.
Thank you very much everybody.

Yep, just swap one smd resistor and you can set it anywhere you want.
In fact pilot is a bit too high indeed, we have made changes to the current
SE5000 boards but yours was probably purchased before we made the
change.

E-mail me for a photo/instructions.
