Who knows the math for working out V.SWR Element Slide Chart

Post by quantumradio »

For example, the Comet CFM-95SL 5/8 Wave base station antenna has a tiny diagram for working out the length of thetop element, for the correct frequency in MHz.
Does anyone know the Math for this? I'm trying to put together a detailed spreadsheet, or an actual [slide chart] that can be used to get this as exact as possible.
Indeed, should be useable for any good 5/8 wave pole adjustment.

The math is always a bit off, get a SWR meter.
