Fm transmitters

Post by warden »

Are there any fm transmitter circuits out there that do not require a trimmer cap? I have been to every local electronics shop in town, and no'one has them! :(

Thanks

hi warden,

just to test, you can substitue trimmer cap by one capacitance that is in the range of the trimmer, but who will not vary the emitter frequency...

You may build a fm exciter without any trimer capacitors! Most commercial exciters (up to 20 Watts) no need trimer. You can use a bgy33 or bgy133 from Philips (hibrid amplifier). Input for this device is 100~150mW output 0~20 Watts on 87.5~108mHz. It's very simple! :)

Open This link: http://www.*Ads not allowed*/modules.php?name ... tit&lid=24 to get technical manuals from PTEK Broadcast manufacturer. In this manual you will get the schematics of fm exciter and power amplifier without any trimer capacitors or hibrid module....
