MPX OUTPUT *****

Post by stylzmovement »

What type of cable do you recommended to be used from the SE4 DSP MPX output to the input on the Max Pro IV Exciter?
Should I use 50 ohms coax? Or regular audio wires?

Audio coax is fine. 50 ohm coax is fine, too, but not practical since its very rigid.

I like the tiny RG174 50 ohm coax with teflon insulation since the insulation does not
melt when heated. The only problem here is that its hard to remove insulation since
teflon is very tough to cut.

The problem with the cheaper audio coax is often that the hot braid melts
the insulation and shorts to the inner conductor so be carefull when soldering.
