PCI MAX 2004!

Post by ai5u »

I must say that the PCI MAX 2004 is a must buy product! I received it today and switched-out my PCI MAX ULTRA. After the switch-out in the computer, it fired up first time with no problems. I am using WinAmp with SoundSolution 1.1 plug-in. (OPTIMOD 8400 preset). Man! The sound is better than my local Commerical Broadcast Stations! My coverage is 1.75 miles with a car radio. I figure its about 3/4 mile with a boom-box/alarm clock radio/home stereo with external antenna. I have the transmit antenna (Veronica 5/8 wave - 4.6 dBi/EIRP=2.8 X TX Power) omni-direcional up about 35 feet and fed with Heliax LDF4-50A solid coax cable.
Some of my local listners noted a "new & improved" quality of sound from the station.

Just wanted to let PCS Electronics know that they are doing great things with there PCI Computer Transmitter line of transmitters!

Keep up the great work - I will be waiting for the next version/upgrade!

Cheers!

Hey, thanks, man.

How do you like the new forum look?
Accidentally, you need to enter your profile and
select another style (Cobalt 2.0) to see it.

You can also change that avatar, I just selected one for you.
Hope you like it.
Best regards,
