Post by kresebeke »

i bought the MAX PRO I at PCS Electronics and there are some problems with the LCD, cause i can´t change the frequency no more. i don´t have any kind of tutorial about the configuration of the LCD or how can i work with it. I tried to send some e-mails to PCS but until now nothing. Could someone explain to me how can i work with it?

Where have you sent the e-mail? To our hotmail email?
That email is only used for MSN messanger. We do not
read it (as stated on the website).

If you have used the proper email, than please disable
your email filters, they are obviously blocking our email.

It is sad, but due to excess volume of spam nowadays people
use filters. Sometimes these filters block valid email. That makes
it impossible to contact them. :(

It happens every 1-3 days, actually, so it is a big problem.

What's even more frustrating is that people mistype their email
or have their reply-to email setup incorrectly. :-? :-?

If you haven't received any response in more than 3-4 days,
please resend your email from another email account and make sure
your spam filters are not set too agresively!

I remember a customer who asked for instructions for MAX 1
and the email bounced.

If you're getting "Error" on the LCD when you try to change
frequency, please connect pins 7 and 4 on the 24Cxx chip
with a short piece of wire (or any resistor you have at hand,
the exact value is not important).

This happened sometimes on the old LCD boards due to eeprom
not performing as specified in datasheet.
Best regards,
Marko - PCS Electronics
