Post Digital TV exciters for NTSC-8VSB Reply with quote
d'oh! Hello, to all people on this excelent forum ! I need your ideas or help, I'm navigating on the PCS-Electronics new catalog, and I find the new Digital TV exciter ( mpeg2)
My question is: ¿ May I use this exciter to handle the, Standard ATSC / NTSC, (8VSB Constellation ) Digital terrestrial TV system ?
I understand that the QUAM systen must be used ONLY for Digital Cable system?, I'm right ?
Some providers from Canada, USA, and China, are offering the right systems ATSC - (8VSB Constellation ), for TV terrestrial Digital TV, but there are to much expensive !

Any idea or help will be very appreciated ! Thank You !

Hi there,

sorry about somewhat slow response, I suggest you look at this page here in the coming days.
An upcoming update will list several versions of digital modulators.

Digital TV modulators are not cheap, but things are getting better each year step by step.
