What is the best antenna for CyberMaxFM+ 1000W
I am getting ready to purchase one of your CyberMaxFM+ 1000W transmitter packages and would like to know what antenna you recommend for an urban setting with tall buildings? I was told that a tuned antenna is better than one that doesn't require tuning, is this true?? I was thinking about the 3/4 wave Exterminator but that would require an SWR meter and is 2,000W ERP and when I look at the 4 wideband 500W dipoles at 4000W ERP and no tuning required it just looks more appealing! Out of the two which would you say is my best bet? Someone told me a Dominator is good but I didn't see one for sale on your site so I thought the Exterminator was comparable. I would like to get an antenna that can give me a decent signal and range, but I am hoping to get something that can be easily installed and is not too obvious so I guess size plays a big role as well. Would one of those two antenna options work good or is there another antenna you guys sell that would do a better job? Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
1. Wideband "No tune" antenna is always better, it is easier to use and requires no retuning if you decide to change frequency. There's also less chance that you'll damage your unit by mistake, all it takes is change of frequency and your SWR can go very high as tuned antenna only has good SWR at resonant frequency. Wideband antennas are often slightly more expensive, they are usually well worth the extra cost and less sensitive to mechanical damage.
2. In urban settings circular dipoles work best.

I vote for sytems 5,6 and 7 for your application, but your budget will be the ultimate judge on this one.
If you want tuned due to budget limitations go for exterminator:

Thanks for your help!
Do you guys offer a package with the transmitter and circular dipoles or do I have to purchase them separately?
When I look at the FM Transmitter Packages I only see Packages A, B, C, D, and E but only C, D, and E offer a wideband dipole antenna which I am assuming is not a circular dipole. I'm more concerned with range than I am with penetrating through into buildings.

If you are only concerned with range than regular vertical dipoles are best.
Circulars are better with multipath problems as they reduce multipath distortion:

Multipath can be bad in urban environments, you may have to move radio
around to find a good spot even though there is plenty of signal available.
