What is PCIMAX TV+?
PCIMAX TV+ is a computer card that will change the way you use your PC computer
to view video content (DVD, DIVX). It will effectively change your PC into a
TV station, it is a small TV transmitter in a form of a PCI PC card. You will
be able to send the video output from your PC (your graphics card must have
TV-out functionality) through radio waves directly to your household TV receiver
in the living room, bedroom or into the building cable system. You may even
create your cable TV station. You need just an ordinary TV receiver to receive
your signal. When used with antenna (not as a cable system transmitter) the
TV receiver should as well have small antenna to receive the signal. The included
software (also available in the support section of this website) lets you set
the frequency and the output power. Get rid of those pesky cables! Watch DivX
in your living room or use special software on sale at PCS as well to run a
small TV station, with commercials, station logo, show scheduling and more.

How do I install it?
Install this card into your PC as you would any other PC card. Connect antenna
and video jumper cable and install software and you're ready to broadcast! Software
gives you full control over frequency and power. Additional output power will
be possible later with the addition of soon to be available external power amplifier.
Coupled with some additional software this becomes a fully automated TV station!
Perfect for watching DIVX in the living room, hotels and motels, small scale
advertising or even a small community TV station. You are only limited by your
imagination!

- RF output power: >100mW, depending on the model, range up to 500m depending
on antenna type and conditions

- amplifiers to increase your range
- accesories for stand alone operation without the PC, cases, LCD displays,
power supplies

What kind of antenna should I use?
A small convenient antenna is provided free of charge. This will work fine for
your flat or office and may even cover a small property. You can even use this
small antenna with any version of pci max. To obtain really good range you need
an external high-gain antenna possibly with amplifier. Check under accesories
for available types.
What do I gain by pre-ordering now before the card is actually shipping?
You get the card at a reduced price. When we start shipping this card in January
we will raise the price 15-20%. By ordering and paying now you help us finance
our first production run and also help yourself get the card 15-20% cheaper. You will also be getting the card sooner as there is substantial demand for this card and initial orders will see significant delays.
