Multi-bay high gain antenna systems

We have prepared a few antenna systems that should cover majority of scenarios, they are all listed below with their specifications. If you have any questions feel free to email for additional details.

Vertical polarization system:
Maximum range, more sensitive to multipath problems, cheaper
Circular polarization systems:
Slightly less range/gain, better penetration and less sensitive to multipath problems. Circular polarization ensures better signal in urban environments, especially city centres with high buildings.
Obtaining desired coverage patterns:
For high gain omni coverage use circular or vertical dipoles. Note that the pole/tower makes a bit of a RF shadow. So try to keep dipoles as far away from the tower as possible while making sure construction will resist wind load. For custom directed patterns consider using several yagi antennas, log -periodic antennas or panel antennas.

How much ERP will my transmitter have with certain gain?
3dbd gain:
Your ERP will be increased 2x, for example 1KW transmitter will have 2KW ERP*
6dbd gain:
Your ERP will be increased 4x, for example 1KW transmitter will have 4KW ERP*
9dbd gain:
Your ERP will be increased 8x, for example 1KW transmitter will have 8KW ERP*
(*) not taking cable losses into account

How much will my range increase with certain gain?
6dbd gain:
Your range will increase 50 - 100%*
9dbd gain:
Your range will increase 100-200%*
(*) subject to terrain configuration, soil conductivity etc

Important:
Due to large size and irregular shape of these packages the website often gets shipping cost wrong. Also sometimes we have to use wooden case which adds about 100 euro to the cost of antenna. Recommended accesories:
We recommend AA-170 antenna analyzer for checking SWR of the antennas. Grounding kits can be purchased here, they ensure lightning protection. They should be installed at the antenna (if needed, most dipoles are grounded anyway), at the tower base and at the point of entrance into transmitter building. Also use self-sealing tape which turns into rubber and protects against moisture entering your cable and connectors.
